Maylon Robinson shares her fashion favorites

Today’s teenagers often face difficulties in creating their own style. High school students often face challenges in standing out from the crowd.

There are a few lucky people who can still distinguish their style from the rest. Maylon Robinson, a senior, is one such student.

Robinson is a well-known campus figure as the ideal representation of modern fashionistas. He has a unique taste in fashion faves and can wear a wide range of styles.

“I have many favorite places to shop. My top choice would probably be American Apparel and Urban Outfitters. Urban Outfitters is my favorite because they have everything I need. Robinson said that Urban is better than American Apparel because I’m so attracted to the 90s style clothing.

Robinson loves to shop online for brands like Brandy Melville or For Love of Lemons, in addition to her usual go-to shops.

Runway-dreamz also sells denim high-waisted, destroyed shorts online. Robinson said they were a bit pricey.

Robinson doesn’t mind admitting that she is a bit of a shopaholic. Robinson is able to see the need for saving money and can’t resist the shopping spree that comes with her Wednesday paychecks.

“On average, I spend about $200 on fashion faves favorites, including clothes, shoes, accessories, and jewelry. It’s hard to resist! Robinson stated that it’s getting to the point where I need to find a second job to save my money.

Robinson’s signature style is “anything high-waisted”, but it changes often. Robinson said that “stores constantly come out with new styles!” This is both a blessing as well as a curse. A blessing because I love the new styles, and a curse because they’re so expensive.

  • Robinson didn’t place metallic shoes and color-blocking as her top trends.
  • “I don’t like wearing plain colors together.” She said she likes to mix patterns and textures.

Robinson’s style is original but not without celebrity influence. Beyonce, Kim Kardashian and Kendall Jenner are her top fashion faves icons. Robinson is a keen observer of fashion trends and seeks out the right balance between urban and chic.
